The 2008 ODF annual conference was held in Philadelphia, PA on April 22nd–24th. The theme for the 2008 conference was "Designing for Impact: Our Changing Organizations, Community and World—A forum for Leaders, Practitioners, and Educators"
This year, we drew from other fields as models for design to help us meet the changing and complex needs of the organizations and communities that we design. In 2008 we took at look at design in the way an architect would: "How we enter and leave a space is just as important as what we do in it."
